hand luggage contents?

hi, was wondering if anyone knew what i could bring in carry-on bag going to malaga.....was asked to bring some "irish" essentials for the home sick e.g. small pudding, chutney?...thank you so much - would feel stupid if they took them away and laughed at me! :)

As Buffy said the Pudding is ok but the Chutney wouldn't be. Wait till after going through security to buy it.

Of course you can put the chutney in your checked-in luggage, just not in the hand luggage!

thanks pythia, just doing a quick visit, carry on bag only!..would get a list as long as your arm if i had a check in bag!
