    Hi All

Sorry if this has been done before but can anyone recommend the best bike computer for 100eu or less. Standard features, wireless and cadence desired.

Wiggle, Chainreactions etc all options so whichever you think.

    thanks
    Chewy

You MAY be lucky with your timing (excuse the pun)

Garmin have all their new computers out now and you might pick up a 2nd hand 500 for that type of money.

The other option was what quite a few posters here did which was to wait for a site (in the last case it was Best Buy in the UK) to have a closeout and get Evans or CRC to pricematch

Whilst it is quite a bit more than your budget, that is the cheapest I have seen recently.

    Thanks for your reply Ckeego.
I take it by 2nd hand you mean new 2011 model right ?

Obviously I know by shopping around, keeping an eye on things etc. I would get the best deal but in this case I basically need to buy something today so essentially just want to know what constitutes the best value for €100 that can be purchased today from Wiggle/CRC etc.

    Thanks

Without waiting for a garmin in the sales etc. I'd say the cateye V3 would be the best. Should be able to find one just under the 100 mark

Or if you can't get a 2nd Garmin quick enough, I wouldn't spend more than €20 on a computer and start with your remaining €80 to save up for a Garmin 500.

Trust me, it will pay in the long run.

Roseversand.de have decent selection of cycling computers that might fit your budget and requirements. I've recently got a Sigma 2209MHR from them (a bit over your 100eur budget) and after all the batteries were changed it's performing admirably. If there is a model there that doesn't have the altimeter but still has cadence and heart rate it might be less than your budget.

Strongly agree..If it's for yourself, I'd save your bucks and go for a 2nd hand Garmin or see if you can get a pricematch...The ones from Evans during the last pricematch worked out at under €114:):)
