I have a 308 and in severely cold weather (like last year, for example) the driver's door will not open from outside when unlocked. Had the same problem when I got up this morning and saw the snow. You have to end up getting in the passenger seat and then open the door from the inside. Anybody got any tips/clues haow to get around this problem? Doesn't happen at any other time of the year, so I wouldn't have thought it's any kind of setting in the car.

Rub baby powder or talc on the rubber seals on the door/body

Unless it's an issue with the handle?

No; the handle works fine for the other 340- odd days in the year. Was also told to try light machine oil on the rubber seal. Thanks for the suggestion.
