Doesn't happen at any other time of the year, so I wouldn't have thought it's any kind of setting in the car.

Rub baby powder or talc on the rubber seals on the door/body

Unless it's an issue with the handle?

No; the handle works fine for the other 340- odd days in the year. Was also told to try light machine oil on the rubber seal. Thanks for the suggestion.
