    Hi guys,
just bought a usb condenser mic planning to record drums and acousitc guitar off. Everytime i go to record there's a really loud hissing, just general white noise i suppose. I figured it could be the mic being to sensitive but i have completely muted the mic and still there is a hissing. It's way too loud to just ignore, any suggestions on what this could be? the mic is a gatt LD-6U. Thanks

    Are you using a laptop?

If you are pull out the power and see what happens. You could have a ground loop from the power supply.
