Would anybody know which station this was on - a friend told me they heard it but didn't know which station - i am in dispute about a 65 euro deal I paid for on 10 th Nov which I still haven't received. it's taking Groupon anything from 7 - 14 days to reply to emails.

    Thank you very much Liam.

When I do get this sorted (if and when) I will NEVER use Groupon again.

Spot on. Groupon customer service is very average at best. Took nearly two months to get a pillow I ordered and let's just say, one of the Groupon customer service reps I spoke to wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer...

I've now unsubscribed from all of these sites as their daily email was becoming more akin to spam than anything else... particularly if you don't want to go away for the weekend or get yourself waxed...

Agree fully that Groupon and the rest are like spam. Unsubscribing from them all and bookmarking this page which has all the "deals" on a single page might be a better idea.

The topic was mostly from the vendors point of view.It was a mexican cooking class 25 euro a lesson. They said if the vouchers are not used within the use by date groupon keep
100% of the money. When they are used groupon get 42% of the money which breaks
down to 16 euro to the vendor and 9 euro to groupon in this instance.Nice money if you can get it

Had to laugh at the two vendors who said they came forward because they were concerned for the people who purchased the coupons as the coupons were about to expire. Yeah right, their only concern was getting their own slice of the cash. Nothing wrong with that but don't pretend other peoples interests come first.

I'm still waiting on these Pillows, I've been waiting since 7th October. I'm almost ready to give up.
I have sent at least 10 emails, made as many calls, even resorted to Facebook comments (so everyone can see)
I get a reply every 3 weeks or so, to say hey are ;looking into it!

    Any advice?

Threaten them with watchdog on the FB of the company who's product you bought, tag groupon in the post.

Find the link to make a watchdog complaint & put that in the post.

I started doing that two weeks ago, the next day I got a phonecalls from the md of the company concerned asking me to please stop, no need for watchdog etc, he processed a refund that day (took about a week to come through) & sent me the product for free by way of an apology.
