Who apart from the obvious who would you like to see Floyd fight on may 5th. For me it would have to be Saul Alvarez. I think I read somewhere he'd be willing to drop to 150 for the fight. I think he would be a serious challenge to Floyd.

    Alvarez/Martinez/Cotto/Khan

Alvarez has already said after his last fight that he doesnt want mayweather anytime soon.

martinez would be a nice one but couldnt see him dropping to 147 and couldnt see floyd moving up either

Alvarez is a big lad and could well outweigh Floyd by at least 10 lbs come fight night. Young, fresh, strong and tough. Not at all a gimme for Floyd.
I think Ortiz had about 15 lbs on Floyd when they met. Didn't help him though. But, Alvarez is bigger than Ortiz

There is always Ortiz or Berto. Cotto is another one, or the punchbag, Margarito?

Martinez ain't getting near 147 lbs healthily.

I would love to see him and Khan in the next 6 months.

Forget Peterson and Khan, go straight to spring/summer fight with Floyd and Khan.

Berto is useless, I'd have no interest in that fight.

Martinez, for his awkward style and size advantage would be interesting.
Alvarez, young and strong and with a size advantage.
Cotto, boxed beautifully in his last fight, nice to see him get a crack at Floyd but can't see it ending well for him.
Khan, a lot of people would like to see him lose to shut him up and put a serious dent in his career, and so people would like to see him work his way past some of his serious weaknesses and make something of himself, either way it's an interesting fight.

I personally dont think May will box at 154 again and dont think he'l do any catch weights.. for those like alverez whos like at 170 and martinez who would be around that also. I say if khan beats peterson he might get a shot at floyd , would be an interesting match, but i think he would be out of his depth, same as cotto. boxed great against marg but dont seem him boxing too well wit floyd.

Fight i wanna see 2012 Ward an Alverez. winner gets martinez :D

    I don't think there's anyone really -

Ortiz - Already beaten by Floyd, not effective, seemed happy just to be in there and didn't even seem to care he lost

Berto - Would take a serious beating, nowhere near the standard

Martinez - Would be dead anywhere the weight and Floyd won't move up much

Alvarez - Looks great for his age but not quite at the level skill wise yet, isn't going to land a whole lot and doesn't have one punch KO power, see Floyd running and potshotting his way to a wide UD

Khan - While his style is suited, Floyd is the bigger man and well able to work inside, don't see this being a fight with the exception of the early rounds. If Khan's in it early, Floyd will adjust but Khan can only fight one way

Cotto - While he looked great against AM, I don't think beating a plodder tells you alot, not convinced he's the Cotto of old. He's a skillful fighter that doesn't have mayweathers skills

I think the only challenge is Pac

Think Ward would make very easy work of either

But, Floyd's legs now do not allow for "running." He is older and heavier. Relies now more on experience and timing and cleverness. Not sure pot shotting is enough. Anyway, he will not meet Alvarez. Alvarez is big, young, talented and dangerous.

Floyd ain't going to run from Khan's tippy tappy punches though, it would be Khan on the backfoot all night.

Yes, I agree. I don't think Floyd will just walk straight thru with ease. He will be stronger, but he is not naturally a bull. He is methodical with his pressure, and this should be better for Khan, who can box. I still believe that the styles make for an intriguing clash. If PBF cannot get Khan out of there, then he will be made think for every second, and work quite a bit to earn a decision win. I also do not think Khan will be reckless and gung ho, and just attack for the sake of it. If Khan can keep a distance, and use his speed and reach, we could be in for a technical masterclass fight.

Doubt Mayweather will be fighting on May 5th, he has just got sentenced to 90 days in Jail from January 6th. I don't think he would want to leave jail and then go straight into an 8 week training camp.
