Hi all , I am getting rid of my samsung n110 netbook and want to remove all my info from it first.

Whats the easiest way to do that ?Ideally i would like to do a clean install on it but have no idea how to even begin.

I take it you didn't make backups of the Operating system when you bought it so....tut tut.

There should be a recovery partition of the Operating system on the Laptop, to access it keep pressing F2 (it could be F8) when you turn the Netbook on and follow the Instructions.

If you've used the Netbook for personal stuff you can really go to town wiping it by using dban, as even a reinstall doesn't completely wipe a HDD.

Just wait for someone to confirm that dban doesn't wipe the reinstall partition aswell, I've never used it myself, I usually drill holes in my old HDDs.:D
