Gunsmoke TCM

    Would anybody have any idea why TCM is not showing ''Gunsmoke'' anymore..??
    My mother watches it everyday and is distraught that it's not on anymore.
    I see they've replaced it with Bonanza.
    I can't find any other information on the site.

    CBS Action are showing it from January 2nd so at a guess TCM no longer own the rights to it.

    Bonanza is on TG4 most lunch times.

    Glad to hear it will be on elswhere. Hopefully it will be the early versions. The ones on TCM were from 1962/1963 and in black and white. I think the older episodes where better than the newer ones. Things didn't always end happily or they way one expected. The early series indeed lived up to Gunsmoke's claim as being a western for adults. No Roy Rogers or Hopalong Cassidy here...
