do i need a saorview box?

Hi, i have the following TV ;

I have a standard aerial connected as no SKY or UPC in the apartment block, i get TV3 okay with no issues.

do i need a SAORVIEW box in order to pick up the free Irish channels?

Your PS43D490 is on the Saorview approved list so the tv shouldn't be the issue.

By 'standard aerial' do you mean an indoor one? Are you in Dublin?

Have you scanned for digital rather than analogue channels, set the correct region etc.?

sorry, to clarify i live in dublin 7 area, i have analogue tv through CABLEWATCH company, can receive around <snip> stations.

I have NO indoor aerial

You have no aerial at all. Cable is not an aerial. You need to get one.
