Is there any app or interface i can use to see text message envelope symbol if i miss the beep?. I seem to miss new texts because my screen is set to timesout in full black. The problem is i wont notice a waiting text message if i dont hear it initially because it will be clouded under the black screen. Is there a way to always see a text message on the screen until i read it?.

most phones will have an led flashing or something to let you know....what phones is it? what mesaging app are you using? I would recommend Go SMS Pro! OR Handcent SMS....

I know you can definitely set your light to flash using handcent

If you don't have an LED you can try an app like NoLED.
