    Hey

    Can the new fall 2011 xbox 360 update run on a modded xbox? Reason I ask is because I dont have a HTPC and was looking into setting one up, but I really like the UI of the new dashboard, specifically the kinect control system. I would buy a 360 and kinect to use as a HTPC if I can connect an external hard drive.

    The reason I need the hard drive is to access my own content, since the only internet I have is the O2 mobile broadband, so streaming content isnt really an option.

    Yes you can have the fancy new dashboard on a RGH or JTAG console

    Alternatively just use Bestpigs tool to build yourself the 14699 dash update

    Thanks guys, I have a good bit of researching to do on this. It would be wicked cool to browse through movies or whatever by moving my hands. Way forward I thinks :)

    I have a fairly recent version running on my jtag if thats any use. works fine
