Currently completing a Diploma in Teaching in Lifelong Learning Sector in the Uk. I know the qualification is (recently announced) acceptable to teach in secondary schools in the UK. I currently teach (maths and sciences) in an FE college in the Uk coming from a civil engineering degree bacjkground. Do people know what if any recognition the DTLLS course has in Ireland. Its similiar to the PGCE in uk. Most FE colleges are now running the DTLLS over the PGCE.

    Cheers for any info.
