i bought an WE MEU 1911 Silver and to my disappointment it is/feels too big for my hands (even without gloves on). any suggestions for a pistol with smaller grip? i ve also handled a KWA USP and a 5.1 and both also felt big. i would like one preferably with a lower rail if possible.

    im leaning towards FN 5-7 ,P99, P229, G19 , G27 and maybe PPK ...
anyone with handling experience on these pistols and 1911 could shed some light?

Also please keep size and ppk jokes civil :D

Small paws eh? Maybe get a derringer?
Only kidding, the tm 5-7 has a fairly large grip too so if a 1911 is too big the 5-7 will definitley be too large.

How about the PX4. Very nice pistol (TM one, haven't tried the clone one yet).
And it comes with 3 extra parts for the grip, so it can be virtually tailored to fit!:)

I have to say it is a very nice pistol and performs perfectly out of the box.
The hop system is probably the best you can get on a pistol.

I had one but alas don't use pistols too often so I sold it on Boards a while back.

There is a clone one about, but I have no personal experience of it so couldn't really comment on it.

The TM's cost a bit more than some pistols, but are definately worth the extra.:)

and now its mine :D and i have to say it is an amazing pistol, and it has the adjustable backstraps so it should be able to fit your hand fine

too bad you changed ur mind bout selling it :P few questions since you are now the owner. have you used quite a bit to be able to offer an insight on the plastic slide ? i know it has an internal metal part for the slide lock so the outside wont wear. is the blowback "crisp" and is there any wobble ? im asking cause i hate wobble on slides and the HK clone from what i ve seen comes with a metal slide and metal outer barrel (which im considering buying to replace the plastic ones from TM if i go for the TM).

well i have skirmished it once and have been plinking with it quite a bit, probably fired off a couple of hundred rounds and i havent seen any sort of wear on the slide, the blowback is very crisp and there is little or no wobble in the slide, i would highly recommend this pistol, it is the newest pistol by the best in the business, cant go wrong.

KSC Glock 19 and Sig 229 are both very good in term of recoil (metal slide) and accuracy. Both hold around 20 rounds, plenty of upgrade avalible. The Glock has a smaller grip than the Sig. Those two would be smaller than the 1911s, USP 45s and Berretta M9s. Oh, if you are thinking of getting the smaller USP Compact, you would need a rail attachment for tac-lights or lasers.

Personally, love all my GBBs, especially the Glock.

Or maybe a baby hi-capa they're cheap, compact and have a lower rail for you aswell but i don't have any experience with them so i couldn't say anything about the performance.

i thought the baby part of baby hi capa referred only to the barrel length. cheap is not really an issue. i dont mind paying extra to get something that will last and its trouble free :D

baby in the case of the hi capa, refers to everything smaller, there's 4 hi capa's 3.8 baby, 4.3 5.1 and a 5.1 Dragon, the 3.8 being the smallest then the 4.3 etc etc. the Dragon being similar to the Desert Eagle in that only half the slide recoils. so the 3.8 is a smaller pistol in all terms.
