New Laptop - WiDi

    Hi,

In the market for a new laptop with the below requirements:

    Budget: €500 max

Intended use: Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office, music, streaming videos and matches, playing downloaded films/TV shows

    Mobility: Not very important

    Warranty: 12 -18 months

What Operating System do you use? Windows

However I have been looking into getting a laptop with WiDi enabled so I can stream movies/matches to my TV wirelessly. I understand I will need the Netgear Push2TV receiver which I intend getting in the New Year. Do most laptops with 13, i5 processors and up have this WiDi built in?

Was looking into a Lenovo G570 or Z570. Would I need more than i3,4Gb RAM or would it be worth shelling out a bit extra for i5? Amazon seem to be cheapest at the mo on the G570 as Currys seem to be out of these.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    G
