Bilirubin

    Im sitting in the rotunda with my wife at the moment because the midwife did a pee test and found bilirubin, can anyone fill me in on what it is, does, shes 35 weeks on our 3rd child if that makes a difference

    I don't know but this link might help. You poor things - even the small things cause anxiety. Appears to be related to the liver and red blood cells but hopefully this link will help

    Bilirubin in the urine can be an indicator that your baby may be born with neonatal jaundice...nothing too much to worry about, he/she will be under blue lights for a litte while and will need to feed loads to clear their system

    Cheers, 2nd test came back neg. just waiting on a 24hr test to come back and the protein to drop
