Hi folks, I got an e-mail via the forum I run regarding the death last week of David the bellies Harper he died of terminal cancer and was only 54:

died last week and a lot of players or ex players even pro players read your forum and would have played against him in the past . he died of terminal cancer and was only 54 . his 1 months mass isnt up yet so near the end of january can you mention something in the news letters he was my uncle email me and ill let you know. but mick the magnet mc gowen is playing another season as a pro next year and deicating it in memory of my uncle the bellies

I did not know the guy but condolences to his family and friends.

his months mind is the 8th of jan . cheers for that everybody in darts Ireland knew of him but don't know he died

Played Bellies many times out in Rush dart league.

Absolute gentleman, super dart thrower and was very saddened when I heard about his passing last week.

Hopefully they will start a memorial tournament in his name out there. He certainly would be worthy of one.
