At a guess I'd say they're putting more effort and money into caring for children than on making lavish Hollywood style videos.

    Get a life!

These things are done voluntary - and by any stretch of imagination especially dealing with such sick kids, is a task not undertaken easily.

If you think you can do better, get up off your moaning arse and go do better then!

Everyone knows Santa is Turkish! Typical ripoff Ireland. They should kill him in front of the children.

So what you're saying is Santa could make you a wicked Kebab when you get back from the pub Christmas Eve? Sweet!

Santa is very very busy. It's less than 2 weeks till Christmas Day. More than likely he didn't have time to brush his hair in between organising toys and visiting sick children in hospital.

I am sure the children didn't mind his dishevelled look and were delighted that Santa wanted to meet them.

I just saw it myself and i thought it was very craptastic and other craptasticio words come to mind, words which i have also made up myself because i am cool. Most notably that the guy just spoke with his normal voice.

As long as the kids didn't notice, then it really doesn't matter. Am sure whoever organised this was not trying to impress viewers of the RTE news. And their mothers.

No, no, you've got it wrong! They should sacrifice the children to Santa! Then maybe the real Santa will show up next year for the next batch of cancer kids so EdenHazard has nothing to complain about!

This is a great idea with absolutely no flaws to it!
    Napper's a genius!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!

I pretty sure I went to some pretty crappy Santa's when I was a kid, but I was only a kid so I didn't notice how crap they were.... to me they were real.

Doubt these kids notice either, he is probably just 'Santy' to them and they are probably delighted to see him and tell him their Christmas wishes!!

It was a pretty bad effort of a santa allright.

Fair enough, the first part could be taken as opinion - the latter part however is poor foresight.

    Here's a real Santa:

    http://www.santatelevision.com/joulupukki/joulupukki/joulupukki-avaa-helsingin-joulun/#1

But I bet those poor kids weren't so fussy, wouldn't know the difference and enjoyed seeing that Irish imposter.:):)

Who'd begrudge them any bit of happiness?;)

"Did you notice how bad that Santa was?"

"No, I have cancer - I have more important things to be worried about"

Finally, genuine grounds for a "yore ma" comment - so what if yore ma noticed, she's proof of nothing and she's not a sick child excited to see Santy and have a bit of relief from the terror and stress of being sick. Neither are you. Grow the **** up. Fair play to all involved for the effort they did make.

Ah, fair play to them for trying to brighten up the children's Christmas.. I'd say they just didn't want to cut into the charity money to shell out for a 'real' looking Santa.. those guys aren't cheap, plus all the 'good' ones are all out working the shopping centers..

They're probably big divas too... :pac:

Ye I saw that, the santa was skinny and probably in the basement of the hospital, live feed to the North Pole my eye.

Was pretty sad to see that though tbh, I did like the farmers kid from down the country who wanted a new tractor for his da.

He had a real real thick country accent on him which I though was gas for his age... but again ..... sad
