    Hi there

I'm looking for a 37 inch LED TV that's good quality and a decent price. No 3D needed. What do you recommend and what do you have in stock?

I've looked at a few different ones (Samsung, Phillips, Panasonic), for example:

    Phillips 37pfl6606h
    Samsung UE37D5700ZF

What do you think of these, and do you recommend any others? What's your best price?

Thanks a lot for your work!

    Nicola on behalf of Ash:

    Hey Janecs,

The Philips 37PFL6606 is the perfect blend between budget and premium. It comes with some of the premium features but without the premium price tag.

    37pfl6606.jpg

This is available for €799.99 at the moment and due back into us hopefully before the weekend.

The Resolution is Full HD 1920 x 1080p. This is an Edge LED Backlight screen with 400 cd/m² brightness. And with 500,000:1 Contrast Ratio the picture is bright and clear. The response time on this TV is a super fast 2ms. And with 400Hz Perfect Motion Rate your picture is judder free and smooth. Suitable for sports and gaming. It also boasts 2 x 10W RMS speakers which puts the cherry on the cake.

There's SAORVIEW tuner built into this set and its also a Smart TV:

Enjoy the online world with Smart TV
    • A wealth of online apps, videos to rent and catch-up TV
    • Enjoy photos, music and movies from any device on your TV
    • Easy wireless connection with optional Wireless LAN adapter (PTA01 €49.99)

You also get 3 x HDMI connections, Scart, VGA (for laptops) and USB. The USB will show movies, music and JPEGs. I've tried out the USB with my own 500GB Hard Drive with all different movie formats. Now I've never had a problem but there are codecs out there that may not work with the TV. Generally any AVI or DivX files should be grand but if not you can simply convert them to a compatible version on your PC.

I hope this has covered all the points on the Philips.

If you're interested drop me a PM with a contact name and phone number and I'll PM you a price.

    Thanks a mil, Nicola. :D
