Hey folks, thought you might like to see the progress of the build of my Kenevans bike. They're an Australian custom framebuilder, I picked it up in On Track on Cook St. I believe it's from the late 80s.

Used to be owned by the venerable Andy White of Fyxomatosis, who certainly knows a thing or two about beautiful old steel road bikes.

So far I've just been accumulating parts, slowly but surely.
I've managed to keep the groupset items Dura Ace so far and hope to continue to do so.

A friend of mine gave me a set of shifters with the left one broke and I managed to pick up another on Adverts for a measly 30 quid, so that's probably the biggest saving I've made on this bike.

DA crank is another Adverts buy, as are the Cinelli Giro D'Italia stem and bars.

The Campy record headset and DA titanium cassette were also given to me.

So I guess I've been pretty lucky so far! Haven't had to buy anything new yet.

Hoping to get the rest of the parts boxed off over the Christmas and have it on the road by end of January at the latest.
