aer lingus london - dublin

    hi all - need a little advice please! i booked a flight for my friend from london heathrow to dublin as she has no internet access but am now wondering does she need to check in online as i cant see where to do this in her booking...... been a long time since i flew aer lingus and last time had to check in online..... i would appreciate any advice.... :o

    With Aerlingus you don’t NEED to check in online, you can just do it at the airport (at a desk or self check in machine). They haven’t gone the way of ryanair yet :) Maybe just make sure she has a booking reference number if she needs it, but I think even a passport is enough!

    I think you CAN checkin online (within a day or 2 of the flight or something like that), but the only benefit is if you want to reserve your seat in advance. But you can still select your seat at the airport when checking in, there might just be less choice.

    No problem! If there's any doubt in her/your mind you should probably ring Aerlingus just to double check, but it should be fine :)
