Hello again folks. Has anyone got an idea on how to send mails via eircom on their i phone I can receive ok but cant send via mail1.eircom.net. I've searched for ages and rang Meteor to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone got an idea on how to send mails via eircom on their i phone I can receive ok but cant send via mail1.eircom.net.

I've searched for ages and rang Meteor to no avail.

If you're on Meteor, you can't sending using Eircom's SMTP server, you have to use Meteor's. If you're sending on home WiFi you would need their SMTP added as well. The phone will try each until it gets the right one.

Theres no meteor smtp server.
You will need to use he gmail, or some other, smtp seever
