Hey everyone, want a bit of advice on a pickel im in!!! im a 25yo lad and to be honest quite shy and quite until i get to know someone also havent much experience or confidence when it comes to the females!! anyway im part of a club/group and this year a new girl joined us. I knew her in school and she was a year behind me but havent really had any contact with her since then. The thing is she is really quite as well, always has been even in school, and kinda hard to read. we do chat away and have a laugh and i really like her, i find myself in a daze around her and dont think i've felt like this about anyone before. i want to ask her out but afraid what would happen if it all went wrong, especailly as we are a very small club/group and its vital we all get on(sorry i dont want to say what it is)
i was thinking of getting two tickets to a play or something as i know she would like this and asking her if she would like to go and hope make a date out of it with dinner etc?
so whats your views on this, good or bad idea???

Life's too short to spend your time being afraid of what might go wrong. Why not spend some time thinking about it all going right. Ask her before someone else does.

Is she showing any indication that she might be interested?
    If so, go for it!

Exactly as the previous poster said...life is too short.

You should ask her out to the play or for drinks away from the group. The worst she can say is no. Then you'll know either way and won't have regrets about not asking her out.

    Do it.
Tell her you have a pair of tickets to such and such, would she be interested in going. Take it from there.

Remember, you'll always regret the things you didn't do.
    Not the things you did.

There's billions of females on this little spinning globe we're on OP. What have you got to lose? Ask her out ......... if it doesn't work out there's plenty more out there who you might have a chance with.
