Portlaoise Mail Centre

    I sold some items on ebay last week and the buyers have not got them yet.

    Also have a package on its way to me and when I look up the tracking number it says Portlaoise mail centre.. for the past 2 days. I've never had anything take 3 days to arrive.

    Is there some major delay giong on? I have a feeling the ebay item is stuck in there as well.

    Coming up to Christmas post usually takes a little longer than usual because there is a larger volume of items being posted. Even during the summer etc I have had items take up four days to arrive to me, and they were sent within Ireland so it can take a little longer.

    I would say ring Portlaoise Mail centre and see if they can help you in any way.

    I highly doubt they will move your items along quicker if you ask though.

    Chances are if its in portlaoise for 2 days it has been sent to customs and the tracking might not have updated yet. Ive had deliverys this week via on post where the anpost tracking wasnt even showing the items in the country and yet they have already been delivered so there may also be a tech glitch with the tracking at the moment.
