FS: Zipp 404 Tubular wheelset

Selling a Zipp 404 Tubular wheelset,(Shimano/Sram) complete with Vittoria Competition Rally 23 Tyres and Dura Ace QR. These wheels have only been used three times, so as you can imagine are in perfect condition. I have 3 spare tubular tyres that I will include in the sale also. Wheels are located in Dublin and I would welcome any inspection.

Hi there. I am interested in your wheels. Your price of €1,300 is a bit steep for second hand carbon fibre wheels though. Therefore (pending a satisfactory viewing) I offer €1,000 cash. I am in Dublin so can view most evenings.

I am away for the weekend, can meet you Monday evening and you can look at the wheels. I feel 1300 is a fair price as these have seen little use, but sure have a look at them and we will go from there.

The wheels were bought new in 2010, but they are a 2009 model as far as I know

Older than 2009 due to their spoke count.

It’s a hard one to tie down what year they actually are as it’s pretty hard to tell the difference between the 06-07 model & the 08 model. The difference between the two models (as far as I could find) was Zipp added ‘carbon bridge technology’ to increase the wheel strength.
