Lets say you met someone who had no arms and they extended their foot out for you to shake it like as if it was a hand?

    Would you shake the foot?

Would be a bit rude if that was the only appendage he had to proffer by way of greeting and you refused to shake it.

Could you not shake their stub?
I'd rather that than a foot - especially if it was a guy as they have the worst feet.

If it was a woman sans arms and legs.

    Would you shake her tits?

    Nope. I wouldn't shake another man's member.

    Butnah seriously.

    Is my question not legitimate?

Nope. No stubs. Literally armless from the shoulder.

Grab them, give them a jiggle, why not. Sure I could go all continental and give them a bit of a motorboating too.

Just nod. It could be awkward if you enter a room and shake hands with everyone, then look the them and just nod.

    I suppose I would too.

I'd just be a little worried about foot cheese although I guess if the foot was being extended then it's owner would be vigilant about that type of thing.

Unless of course they got some sort of buzz out of smearing their foot-cheese on people.

Would they extend it while standing? If so I'd be extremely tempted to sweep the other leg. That would be hilarious!

You could just pick him up and shake him, wouldn't be as weird.

See that's where things get complicated. I'd have to check for foot-cheese first, especially if it looked like contagious foot-cheese, nobody wants a dose of herpes of the toe.

That being said we do tend to shake hands straight away without looking, don't we? Sure that hand could have been anywhere, up a nose, up a hoop. Maybe we're being footist. I don't know Chuck, you've given me a lot to think about.

This thread reminds me of the movie Airplane:

"looks like the upper hand is on the other foot".

I'd extend my foot out too and we could do a footshake together.

    then I'd say :

Well if it isn't Mr. McGregg with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg

    bye everybody
