its an AWZ 510 washer/dryer, its had this problem since we moved in (came with the appartment) it washes the cloths fine but wont let me reset it or turn it off, dont know how i do it other times, its just lucky mashing of buttons and settings and i cant find anything on the 1 sheet of paper manual about what to do. Anybody else have 1 of these and know what to do?

According to this manual, you 'Reset by turning the programme selector to "Off/0" and select the "Drain Spin" programme to remove the water remaining in the bowl before the door can be opened'.

 I'm not sure I understand you 100% here: what needs to be reset?

Do you mean you can't turn the programme selector?

no, i can turn the knob thing fine but the machine itself wont turn off thus not letting me start a new wash cycle, the light is just stuck on "end" just telling me its finished but wont let me do anything else

Are any of the red indicator lights on the right hand side lit?

Did you manage to resolve this issue? Same thing has happened to mine and I had tried loads of things! Any help would be appreciated!

Or, try what I just did. I was having the same issue, aka Persistent "End" led.
Open the door, open the Soap compart. Leave the machine set to a program (i think any would work). If you leave it for +-5 mins, you'll hear a "click" (assuming ur switch is ok). When it you heard that click, set the knob to Off, It should restart normally.
    Hope it helps,
