UPC to SKY switch - will I lose this option?

    Hi

Have a query you might be able to help me with

Am considering switching from UPC to SKY - currently have Basic UPC package + Sports and would migrate to a more or less identical package with SKY.

At the moment, I can watch channels through my UPC box (on tv channel 0) or I can watch the analogue channels on my TV (BBC1, 2, ITV, etc on channels 1,2,3,4 etc)

As I have a TV that supports PIP this is really handy, as I can watch sport while Mrs Ball watches the soaps :)

If I switch to SKY will I lose this capability?

I guess its a moot point as this will be gone regardless once the analogue service is switched off next year, but in the meantime if I make this switch will I lose this facility.

Hope that makes sense - would appreciate any feedback

    Tks
    BtB

If you're receiving the analogue channels via UPC then yes, you will lose these once they disconnect you.

The UPC analogue service isn't ending next year . It's the terrestrial service that is ending there are no plans to discontinue analogue cable where it currently exists

If you have broadband with them the channels should still be there to watch as the signal will need to come in.If you do not have any other service with them, they probably come over and disconnect it from outside your house so you will loose them.

If you go for Sky and you have Broadband with UPC you will be able to use the Sky Go service on two internet devices.

I have it on my computer and Xbox.
