Would be curious to know what our professional associates on this forum think of it?

Jason Dominy will be checking out a unit in a few weeks time, just before the funding is collected.

Their initial pitch was very vague. It has fleshed out a little since then.

Even if you accept their claims that their thermoblock does what it does (the pressure profiling I have no doubts about - others have done it with a vibe pump), I still have concerns about how they can make a profit at the price-point they are suggesting, but who knows.

The biggest concern I would have is that this is essentially a big beta test, they are going from prototype stage immediately to having several hundred orders with a set deadline. It's some serious pressure when you have yet to find a production facility.

I wish them luck. I hope they achieve all they are suggesting, and I hope that all the investors get what they are expecting.

They're saying that investors may have to wait upto a year to get their machine.
They can do 50 machines a month from March i think, so its going to be a long wait for some people.
Hopefully at the $300 price point they want to retail for they can make a profit, just take an inital loss on the creation and hope theres enough momentum to carry them into profit.

In case you didnt spot it but they've decided not to make a 240V version. Sticking to the 120V and then you'll have to step it up. Not sure if that really makes any difference or not...

Yeah, I'm kind of tempted to pull and just buy a 220v model when it comes out if its getting good reviews.
They have 1000%+ funding so i don't mind pulling out.
