Kinda defeats the purpose of having an iPhone tho, doesn't it?

Surely just get her to ring her carrier, and get them to add a data package to her bill, they might do it for free, and if they don't it won't be too expensive!

    Not really
Would keep her happy and away from mine when I get another
Wifi at home and work and she doesn't want another bill

most of the phone companys will add a data plan to her current tarrif, i done it with vodafone years ago, i had a nokia 8800, got an iphone 3g and they added the data at no extra cost

She's on a small bill €20/ month rolling contract with vodafone as most of the family are on vodafone too so she has free calls/texts but isn't entitled to upgrades

She also has a nokia phone on O2 from work that she has to carry but can use as she likes

Basically she has an iPod touch at home but wants an iPhone instead as her phone is giving problems
I could probably get an iPhone of some type through work so if I can I'd give it to her and she'd be happy on the €20/month
I don't understand how you mean free data I pay for mine
