Have recently upgraded to dslr nikon d3100 with standard kit lens 18-55, also bought a nikor 55-300 afs vr lens for shooting football matchs. Have been searching around the web and found this; http://www.barkerphotographic.ie/products.php?id=441
Would anyone recommend this or something similer?

Hi Mick, The Aquatechs are really great, most of the Pro sports shooters use them. However the 300 will be way too big (Designed for a 300mm f2.8) for the 55-300mm. The Sport Basic will be a better fit and is a good bit cheaper (€89). You will also need an Eyepiece NEP-80 - which is used to "anchor" the rain cover.
