    Hey Folks.

    What equipment are you using to hear planes, ATC etc? I love plane spotting and would love to get into hear the stuff realtime?

    In fact if you have a smartphone or a computer you can tune in now. Go to www.liveatc.net You can tune in right there or download an app.

    On the other hand there are plenty of scanners out there. I know very little about them. But I'm sure someone will come to your aid. The only one I know of is the Maycom AR108 which has a good reputation.

    have a look at this earlier thread, i use a Bearcat BC-72XLT, and i find it great easy to use, loadsa channels, close call etc. i did have one of the mycom ar108s nice handy compact size but i found it a bit fiddly to programme etc.
