It was snowing this morning at about 5am in some of the higher parts of county Kilkenny. Just seemed to be wet sleet/sludge though, nothing major.

a few little scatery snow clouds about, no sign yet of more snow though. I'd say if anyone was looking at me they'd swear i had a twitch or something the amount of times i'm turning to look out the window since the last down pour (the whole minute or so that it lasted):D

Looking at the long range forecasts, it seems that Waterford won't see the kind of snow thats anyway near what we got last year. Beyone 3 days, you can never tell but from what I can gather from people who know more about it than me, the 'scientific' conditions arent right at the moment for that kind of snow to happen.. prevailing winds from the wrong direction etc.

January is another story though, and I've heard all sorts of possibilities. For now though I think we're safe enough til at least Christmas day.

Cue the blizzard now that Ive said all that :o

I hope I never see snow again to be honest. Between trying to get to work last year and getting things like bread and milk in the shop was torture.

An absolute blizzard hit Kilmacthomas for about 5minutes at around half 10 this morning. I thought that was the start of it again but it didn't stick and turned into rain after that. Crazy day for the weather today.
