Yeah Yeah, I know it's old but it illustrates perfectly the integrity of the Swiss people given the fact they have the balls to consider arresting a former US president for war crimes should he step foot in their country.

If only the people in the judicial system here had the balls to arrest and charge the ***** that ruined this country:mad:

Say what you like about them, but they stand by their words. What Ahern and Co have done(not to mention the EU policy enforcers) is economic treason, and thus should be treated as such. WHY HAVEN'T THESE CLOWNS BEEN CHARGED WITH TERRORISM YET?

    Provable evidence and politics!

That would be very interesting to see something like that happen.
I imagine the yanks would eventually send people in to take him back though, they're not going to let something like that slide.

OP, the answer to your question is simply the fact that Ireland is a spineless country. They're afraid to stand up to the EU, afraid to stand up to politicians and other corrupt officals, they're afraid to get off their arse and do something and at this rate are just going through the motions. Switzerland at least has integrity and the balls to do something, even if it something serious like arresting the former president of the USA. I doubt at all that Ireland would dare do something like that.

The excuse in America is this: if one administration goes after the previous then it will set off a snowball effect of administrations chasing down the previous for political reasons.

If they made a black hole sure it wouldn't matter where your city is.

If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged.

No, that would be somewhere in the land of make believe.

All it takes is for one man to move first, maybe you could be that man?
