RS parts for airsoft

Hi guys,

this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to get RS parts for airsoft here in Ireland; or more precisely, order them from abroad!? Im talking about stocks, grips, slings and sights. How compatible are they with airsoft rails and stock tubes, if at all? I appreciate that there are manufacturers that make replicas but they are ALWAYS out of stock EVERYWHERE!

As long as you're not buying thinks like barrels and recovers you're fine. Some aegs like the ares m4 requires a mil spec stock for example, the hard part is actually finding a shop that will ship as most of them are based in the us and do not shop outside of the us.

Im looking for vltor parts; CASV rail and emod stock but with trades. Theyre either discontinued or out of stock everywhere. Those that do stock them seem to stock replicas with no trades on them.The only emod stock I could find on redowlf or ehobby that is in stock is the TM one and its only $10 cheaper than the real thing. The only thing I would wonder is whether the real stock would fit on an aeg stock tube for say a g&p or vfc gun and of course whether I could even order one.

Section 26 of CJA 2006 has stuff about 'component parts', as in the following are classed as a 'firearm':

"manufactured for use as a component in connection with the operation of a firearm"

And other more specific stuff. I'd say you're probably grand, but don't be surprised if you get a visit about the firearm components you're importing depending on where they're coming from.

Most real stuff won't fit an airsoft gun, especially an m4 as they have size differences all over the place. Also as above, it's illegal here. Also, an airsoft rail is a fraction the price of a real ris system, so why bother.

Without which the firearm could not function is also in that law. A stock, or a grip or sling mount, is not a componant part. And not illegal.

As said, a barrel or reciever would be illegal though
