    hey guys,

As the title suggests, the parents are buying my younger brother an ipod for Christmas, but my mam already has a nano and her songs are all on the laptop.

if i set up a second user account on the laptop, can I put the new ipod on it and download the songs and it wont interfere with my mams songs?

They wont buy the ipod if this happens!!

    Thanks

    Two options.

    Second windows log on.
This way the second account has its own set of documents, picture, music etc. And the itunes library is located there.

If you don't want a second user account, or can't for some reason.
Hold shift and open itunes, it should give the the option to select library or creat new library, this way you can have a second library within the one windows log on

Or, if they don't mind all their songs being in the same iTunes library, just create a playlist for each of them with all their songs and then tell each iPod to sync to that playlist.
