Mortgage Interest Relief Question on Payment

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if I'm getting this or not and am looking for some advice. I am not seeing anything in my bank statements other then the monthly Direct Debit, nor am I seeing anything in my wage slip.

Its a fixed mortgage so is the interest relief applied at source or should I see something. With all the talk from the budget I 've been trying to figure out what its worth to me but am not seeing where the relief is being applied.

I have gone to various websites and entered in my details such as interset amount etc into the calculators and they all show the current amount I'm paying so again I'm confused if they already include the relief at source.

I'd appreciate any advice on this from anyone who has a fixed (5 year) mortgage or anyone who has any knowledge on where the relief is applied.

I hope to call into the bank late in the week but may not be able to until after christmas and would prefer some information before calling in as they haven't been the most helpful bunch from previous visits!

The TRS you are receiving (if any) will be evident on your mortgage statement so maybe request one from the Bank or just ring them & they will be able to tell you from looking at your account whether you are receiving TRS or not
