I am typing this up myself, I was reading about it today in the Star and I cannot find a link to it online, and surprised it was not mentioned in the news papers. They did mention something about a third Garda but I think he was treated on scene but I am not sure so I left that out. Also I can't remember if the spinal injury was serious or not so I also left that out.
Two Garda based in Whitehall were treated for spinal injures yesterday. At around 2:30am on Saturday morning three Garda from Whitehall Garda station where called out to a attend a call, while heading there their car was crashed into. The incident happened on the Home Farm Road, the patrol car was crashed into on the drivers side at high speed by a suspected drink driver.

The two Garda were safely removed from the 2011 Toyota Avensis and brought to the Mater Hospital. A Fire Fighter from Dublin Fire Bridge was also admitted to hospital with hand injures after hurting himself removing the Garda from the car. A man was arrested at the scene.

Can I also mention as I have no photo, that the car was seriously tee boned from the side and the car looked a right mess.

    Speedy recovery to all.

Don't worry, they'll have it back on the road as quick as possible.

On a serious note, quick recovery to the mules.
