    Who has done this race before? Is it worth doing? Whats the bike course like.. I know there's a share of climbing but are the descents good for attacking or are they dangerous?

    Is the race well supported by the locals?

    Probably not worth doing as there are better races out there. Even though it was my first IM it lacked that big race feel that you would want for your first one. The bike course is tough with 2200mtrs of climbing and i would rate it as difficult as the WW200. The road quality is not great in places which means you cannot fully let go on the descents.
    Race support is decent enough on the run in around town but other than that its not great. Speaking to a local taxi man he mentioned that a lot of the locals find the whole race weekend a nuisance. They do seem to be getting better with race organisation each year as it would have got a lot of bad press in the past.
