so i can check my 3 account from https://my3.three.ie/myaccount/selfcare.do and it logs me in automatically when i access it from my 3 connection.

this in turn means that anyone connected to my hotspot can get into it too.

is there anyway to block access to this in your experience?

    thanks

Oh dear , the many perils of tethering :p

Take it to the Data Protection people, the a/c info should not be available to a sim without a password as well. Imagine if the wife could get the mistresses number ???

Because the sim alone evidently gets one access to sensitive personal data. There should be an additional step, eg a pin.

Its the same if you use a router with a 3 SIM anyone on the network can go to My3 and check/change information.

I'm not sure if there is anyway to do so. I just have a password on mine so I don't let people on my net unless I trust them, that's pretty much it.
