    Noticed over the weekend that anything i previously had recorded was goon and i was back to 100% free space... assumed it may have been one of those things that happens when they update the firmware due to a new feature (as i had signed up to remote record)

    But what is happening now that nothing is recording... it appears to be recording, as in the red light it on, the epg recognises that something is being recorded but nothing is being saved to the hard disk.
    I tried a factory reset and the problem persists... anyone else experience this??

    You'll have to ring UPC & tell them what happened. They may replace it.

    yeah did that. they just replaced the box.
