Rough price guide for an arch/arch tech work?

    Hi All,

What would be the rough price estimate for the arch/arch tech work for the 3bed terraced house inspection in South Co Dublin with some advise about the possibilities of the house improvements (like wall moving etc.) or extension? Providing that there is already a recent detailed surveyor report available.

And who is normally doing such type of work: arch, arch tech, builder, somebody else?

    Thanks a lot.

Pretty common for an arch tech.

The price is directly related to the time required. You haven't given much idea as to the scale/scope you have in mind.

It will also depend if planning is needed or not. And if the surveyors report includes drawings.

Cheapest - no planning required, survey includes drawings, arch tech to provide basic proposal for exempt extension suitible for builders to tender.

Most expensive. House to be measured, planning required.

And there are many variations in between depending on the level of work in mind, plus the detail required. Theres a big range above so a rough price is not worth much.

just to add - the price of such work needs to be considered on site following a meeting with you. imo it takes half a day (between site visit, discussion, consideration, fee proposal breakdown) to come to a price for work like this.
