Manganese or Iron stain?

    Hello there folks.
    The picture below shows the rim of my toilet about 15min after it was cleaned.
    From research on the tinternet I reckon it could either be manganese or iron stains. If we wipe them off straight away they are no problem but if they are left there for any lenght of time they are pretty much impossible to remove.
    I reckon they are caused by the spray from the flush?? But I just dont know.

    Can anyone identify the problem and point me toward a solution..

    Have u had ur water supply tested for such contaminants 'cause if its doing that to the head.......

    What is your water tank like. Is it rusty? Or new plastic. There is a place you can get you water tested

    I don't want to come across as insulting or anything, but that "Stain" looks like dirt. Also, the flushing water comes down below the level of that dirt. Just letting you know like.
