I see this is going for €25 today. Does anybody who has used this before have any feedback on it?

Is it genuine reductions on the green fees?
Can it only be used on particular days?

If you like travelling around golf courses, it's the best 25EUR you'll spend.

Every club involved has their own restrictions, and all are clearly marked on the Open Fairways website. But in nearly every case, you'll have earned your 25EUR back by the time you've played a single course.

Ive had the openfairways card the last few years. The thing annoys me is a lot of courses will give you the discount against the rack rate but a lot will have a cheaper rate on any given day anyway and than the "cheaper rate" you get with the OF card. Plus Teetimes and the like can be cheaper at times too.

Still though at that price its worth having, I only used mine twice this year and Last time used it 1 got a €80 off a fourball.

Can't believe it's €25 now - we got a reduced rate of €79 a few years back and it paid for it'self in one round as mentioned above - also, some courses do not mark off the offer on the back of the card so you can get several rounds :D

Are you limited to the amount of times you use your card in any one club?

Just one use at each club, the club pro etc. scratches off the club number on back of the membership card. Each participating club has unique number on the card. Its still a great deal
However as pointed out not ever club does this.
You could always buy more than one book?

I used to work with the southern agents for OF back in the late nineties, problem selling it was that most people thought it was too good to be true. Don't know if it's the same people running it now but the two lads running it at the time had a 2/3 handicap and the other a mad + handicap (Moriarty out of Clandeboye) Good people, great to work with and dangerous to socialize with :-)
