Claiming dole - not sure if employer paid taxes

    Hi,

    Does anyone know what happens if you try and claim the dole and it turns out your employer was not paying your taxes to Revenue (even though you were under the impression they were paying them).

    If you were working and your employer was not paying PRSI for you then you can produce your P60 and your contributions may be added. You will need to fill out an IA49 form at your sw office to have this investigated.

    What do you mean you were under the impression they were paying your taxes to the Revenue? Did you not get pay slips?

    Yes received pay slips but they did not actually pay the tax over
