Unsure as to what to do

    I'll try to keep this as short as possible....

    About 6 weeks ago I met a guy through a mutual friend (my best friend). He's a longterm friend of hers but this was the first time we'd ever met.

    We got along great and ended up sharing the same bed at the end of the night... no sex was involved.

    As we were with a group of friends at the house we never got around to exchangin numbers.... rest of the group taking the mick etc. I didnt think too much of it at the time as I was due to go home later that day(over 4 hours bus drive) and figured nothing would come of it

    Thinking about it after I just thought that it only happened because of the alcohol consumed... then our friend told me he had been asking for my number but she wanted to check with me first before giving it to him... I told her it wasnt a problem, I was actually kind of excited about it...

    Anyway he text a few days later but it was fairly late at night (around 11pm) and I had been asleep due to an early start the following day so I didnt get that message... I text him back as soon as I could without it being 5am but didnt get any response......I was a bit put out but didnt give it much thought as had other things to deal with, relocation, new job etc.

    So last weekend I saw him again in a group environment. We're both fairly shy in social environments so neither of us were speaking that much. Anyway after a while we were on our own together and we started off holding hands and having a laugh... and then we kissed....got those butterflies in my stomach etc but he was going home while me and my friend were going out so I text him after just to say I really enjoyed it and we should meet up again and he agreed....

    Now I know that a lot of it was said and done under the influence but I havent heard anything since then....so i text him today, just to say hi......

    just looking for an outside perspective....

    btw, i'm in my early 20's...

    He sounds keen enough. Organise another social outing for soon and lob the gob I reckon :D
