    Hi All,

Im currently working on a volvo 244. Im just after getting rebuilt calipers all round, but the pad retaining pins on the old calipers are too loose and sloppy for the new ones.
I am going to make new ones, but wonder would something like stainless steel bolts and nylon locknuts work well.
Sonething similar to this: (Though cut to size and threads cut to suit at the ends)

Or, would normal steel rod turned down to a snug fit work just as well.

You could use something like that and just drill a hole and put a split pin through the end.but for the same price or close to it I'd imagine you would get oem pins to be honest.i wouldn't say the cost a hole pile mayb a couple of euro each.

Agreed with the above, the proper pins from Volvo couldn't be any more then a few euro.
