Hey all...(Apologies for grammatical error in Title lol)

Just wondering if any one else is in the same boat as myself. I have been waiting 14 weeks now for my claim to go through and now I am getting nervous 2 weeks before Christmas that the worst will happen i.e. I wont have a penny over Christmas. :(

My claim is backdated to September 12th and I havent received any payments yet. My local office is Balbriggan.

I have tried calling on numerous occasions but no answer. I have gone up to the SW office in person many times too. The last time was two weeks ago...the Officer said my Claim was at Support Unit stage but that there was no way that unit could be contacted???

I have never signed on before. I expected a long wait but I am very very worried now. I will have to go up tomorrow...most likely to be sent away yet again.

Wondering if anyone else has had long delays similar to mine from the Balbriggan office? Or how long a claim stays with this mystical Support Unit??

    Cheers for any help!

I should also add on I am hoping to get something on Jobsbridge but it all depends on successfully claiming jobseekers. I have the required 12 weeks but still need formal confirmation.

3 months is about right, and all it should be if everything's ok with your claim. head in to the office as often as possible and keep at it, politely ! best of luck
