    Hi there,

We spent yesterday clearing out our daughters room and the attic. I've got tonnes of old clothing and toys I need to dump.

I got all the toys in the bin but wanted to donate the clothes to St Vincent De Paul (they are all used but maybe someone could use them)

They are closed on Sundays. Any other suggestions where I can dispose of them today?

    Where are you based?

I'd wait until tomorrow and donate to SVP but your local recycling centre should have a clothes bank. There's a local industrial estate near me with a "Cash for Clothes" place - I presume they repackage them as rag bales.

I think SVP (or equivalent charity store) would be the most worthy recipient. They're so gracious any time I drop clothes in.

Please don't just dump them. They could be of use to somebody.

leave them outside a school, but arranged in the shape of a child, for extra laughs draw a chalk outline around them. or find someone who looks a bit like a paedo and scatter them across their garden, then ring the cops.

Why would I want to do that?

Pop them up on any all of the websites where people give away things for free:

    http://www.adverts.ie
    http://www.jumbletown.ie
    http://www.gumtree.ie
    http://www.freetradeireland.ie

State they have to be taken by for example, 15:00 today and must all go in one lot. PLEASE INCLUDE THE TOYS AND DON'T DUMP THEM! Even a broken toy can be fun for somebody with no toys and batteries are easily bought for others which may be in perfect condition. Somebody will be grateful for everything, just throw it all in a black sack or two and you could really be helping somebody out!

Sell them. You can get 5euro for 10kg of old clothes in a shop in Blanchardstown. Not sure if this is the same place http://www.cash4clothes.ie/index.html

Give them to your neighbours or family or something and ask them to drop it off at the svp for you.

    Enjoy Tallin

Hang on.. You threw toys in the bin? That's about as messed up as burning books or breast reductions!
