I'd like to read up on the pieces of legislation that pertain to trespass and being threatened with violence. I didn't really find much with Google. Could anybody tell me if it is reasonable for me to assume that I will be able to understand the language used in the law? I don't wish to involve the law in the situation,…

Could anybody tell me if it is reasonable for me to assume that I will be able to understand the language used in the law?

I don't wish to involve the law in the situation, but I may not be left with a choice.

If your talking about criminal law then you will find trespassing in the Public Order Act 1994 and threats to kill in the Non-fatal Offences Against the Person Act. Both are on Irishstatutebook.ie
