Hi, just purchased my 1st pair of louboutins and I really plan to look after them but I'm unsure as to how to protect the sole. I REALLY dont want any of the red paint coming off. what is the best way to care for them Im open to all suggestions even putting a sticker on the bottom or something just as long as the red is protected and wont be damaged by whatever protective layer I put over the bottoms. Thanks :D

You could maybe try covering it with one of these? I have seen them on shoes and they look great. I have not tried them myself yet though so I don't know how much protection they would actually give.

There is a cobblers right beside the Barge Pub, on Charlemont Street called C&D shoes - they will put a red rubber sole on your CL's. The rubber part only goes on the section of the sole that makes contact with the ground. It's a while since I got mine done, so I cant remember exactly how much it cost, but I think it was around the €30 mark! Well worth the money imo

I got mine done in the cobblers in Castleknock village. He put a red rubber sole just on the part that touches the ground. It was €12.50 for one pair of shoes. I've gotten lots of shoes soled there and the quality is always perfect, so if it is close to you I'd recommend him.
